When was Underoak established?

1991, it now has the largest database of scheduled courses in the UK.


Does Underoak run the training courses?

No, Underoak lists courses on behalf of over 1,250 training organisations from the UK, Europe and Worldwide. It lists over 120,000 training events.


I have found a course but cannot get more information about it...

When you find the course, click on the Course Details button opposite it and you will be asked to fill in a short form. This form goes directly to the training provider - simultaneously you will be emailed the training provider's details (telephone, web etc.) this is so you can contact them if they do not respond to your request immediately.


I can’t see any results when I search for courses on the site. I just keep getting returned to the same screen.

Please check you settings in your internet explorer are default.

On you Internet Explorer menu bar select: Tools, Internet Options:

Then look at the tabs at the top of the screen.

You will normally see the Tabs: General, Security, Privacy, Content etc…

First select the Security Tab and check the setting is at Medium or below. The Medium setting is also the Default.

Then Select the Privacy Tab and check that this is set to High or below (The default setting is also Medium and the word default will be greyed out if it is set.)


Is there a charge?

Searching is completely free.


Will I receive junk mail?

No, but in order to maintain our high level of security we may occasionally (not more than 3 times a year) send you a new password and update you with any major/significant developments on the site. Underoak complies with all data protection regulations and does not pass your information to other organisations.


I do not like giving my details out on the web, is there another way I can get the information?

You could contact us by e-mail or phone - 020 7371 7103 - giving details of the course you are interested in. Unfortunately due to the large number of enquiries we receive it may take us up to 5 working days to supply the information.


I could not find the course I wanted...

Either contact Customer Services, by phone - 020 7371 7103 - or try again in a few weeks as new courses are being uploaded continuously.


How do I check the course details?

All courses are listed in good faith. Before booking, please ensure that you verify course details with the trainer.

Which courses does Underoak recommend?

Underoak does not recommend any scheduled course training events - we provide a shortlist for course searchers based on best fit (course title, location etc).
